My name is Vera Marquez and I am the counselor/ director at ABC Adoption Agency, Inc.  I have been with ABC for over 10 years.  I work with birth parent(s) when they are considering placing a child for adoption.  I also offer counseling services for birth parents any time after they have placed a child.  I enjoy getting to know birth moms and hearing their stories, No two are alike.  Each one of them is usually in a difficult place or situation and I always try to be there to assist with whatever I can even if it’s just lending an ear.

I also work directly with adoptive families, whether conducting home studies or matching families with birth parents.  I conduct home study evaluations for stepparent adoptions, grandparent adoptions, other relative adoptions as well as pre-adoptive home screenings for couples working with our agency or an outside agency.
